The Circle of Irish Studies at the University of Granada is delighted to announce The 7th International Seminar on Irish Studies, now a part of the Irish Week and complemented by an engaging Irish Dance Workshop activity. In the upcoming year 2024, the seminar will showcase a diverse array of interdisciplinary experts fostering a comprehensive exploration of Ireland through its music, history, art, and literature. Highlighted within the numerous activities scheduled, we wish to bring your attention to distinguished presentations, including the literary readings by authors Dermot Bolger and Emily Pine. We are also honored to host Colm Bairéad, the director of “The Quiet Girl”. We eagerly anticipate the enriching discussions and insights that this gathering of experts will offer, providing a multifaceted perspective on the cultural richness of Ireland.
